E-Z-GO unveils its new 2008 RXV
The E-Z-GO RXV
sets a new standard of excellence for the golf car. It
has the reliability our customers expect. It

E-Z-GO has
completely re-engineered the golf car from the ground up,
adding breakthrough innovations every step of the way.
To ensure maximum value, every component has been
engineered for energy efficiency and low maintenance.
And the operational savings have been tested and validated
by an independent testing firm – TAWAS.
The electric RXV
features an innovative 48-volt AC power system. With
four 12-volt batteries, the RXV has the power to take
golfers through round after comfortable round.
The electric
model takes value to a whole new level by combining three
revolutionary technologies. The ultra-efficient 48-volt AC
drive system slashes operating costs by delivering a quantum
improvement in efficiency, cutting energy costs by a
dramatic 30% and enabling a 10% improvement in daily range.
The combination
of AC drive, full time advanced regenerative braking system,
and the PowerWise QE charger yields unmatched efficiency.
Recharging is faster and battery life is extended,
delivering 20% more rounds. Best of all, this
efficiency comes with superior performance. Consistent
power and torque is maintained up and down the entire
course. The AC drive also features Posi Trac which is
similar to a locking differential and limits the amount a
wheel will slip on slick surfaces.
The gasoline
powered RXV features a 13 horsepower, 401 cc single cylinder
engine. This new power plant not only gets 50% more
mpg, it also conforms to EPA and CARB regulations.
